Development of Multimedia for Local Wisdom Conservation of 700-Year-Old Lamp, Mae Taeng District, Chiang Mai Province.

Abstract

   The objectives of this study were 1) to create multimedia on local wisdom conservation of 700-year-old lamp products, 2) to evaluate the quality of multimedia regarding local wisdom conservation, and 3) to survey the satisfaction of the multimedia regarding local wisdom conservation. The target group of this research obtained by using purposive sampling consisted of 52 3rd grade students and 2 teachers of Wat Chor Lae School in Mae Tang District, Chiang Mai Province.

            The results were as follows; 1) the multimedia on local wisdom conservation of 700-year-old lamp products was presented in the form of cartoon with characters telling a story and a demonstration video of 700-year-old lamp procedures, 2) the evaluation of the multimedia quality using 5 dimensions was at good level (mean= 4.07, SD = 0.35), 3) overall satisfaction of students towards multimedia on local wisdom conservation on 700-year-old lamp products was at a high level (mean= 4.31, SD = 0.45).
