Focus and Scope

Humanity and Social Science Journal, Ubon Ratchathani University, is a journal that publishes articles in both Thai and English languages, accepting research papers and academic articles. The objectives of this journal are as follows:

  1. To serve as a medium for disseminating knowledge, facilitating its practical application, and enabling proper referencing.
  2. To promote the dissemination of research outputs, fostering their practical application and facilitating proper referencing."

    *Furthermore, interdisciplinary articles that integrate multiple fields of study related to humanities and social science are also welcome.

 

Peer Review Process

       The articles submitted for publication in this journal must consist of new knowledge and must not have been previously published in any other journals. Each article will undergo an academic review process by qualified experts in the relevant field (peer-review), with a minimum of two reviewers per article (depending on the case). The review process will be conducted in a double-blind manner, where the reviewers will not be aware of the authors' names and details, and the authors will not be aware of the reviewers' names and details. The review process will be completed within a maximum of 60 days.

       In cases where the evaluation result is not conclusive, the decision will be at the discretion of the Editor-in-Chief.

       Articles that do not pass the review process will not be published. The Editorial Office will inform the authors of the decision, but the original manuscripts will not be returned, and the review fee will not be refunded under any circumstances.

The publication schedule consists of two issues per year, with a publication interval of 6 months, as follows:

  • Issue 1: January-June
  • Issue 2: July-December"
