Democracy Political Culture of Students in College of Law and Government (2020), Sisaket Rajabhat University.

Abstract

The research objectives on democracy political culture of students in College of Law and Government (2020), Sisaket Rajabhat University were to study opinion level on democracy political culture of students in College of Law and Government and problems and suggestions on the influence on democracy political culture of students in College of Law and Government. The samples used in this study were 300 students from College of Law and Governance Sisaket Rajabhat University using stratified random sampling. The instruments used in this research were questionnaires.The statistic used to analyze the data was percentage, mean and standard deviation. Research findings were as follows: The general data of informants was mostly male (64%) and aged between 19-21 year (78%) and studying in the second year (29%).The majority of students studies Political science(58%).The research aimed to study opinion level on democracy political culture of students in 6 components. Opinions on overall component were at a high level with mean equals 3.98. and standard deviation is 0.57. in which democracy political culture of salutation in rules of democracy was the highest (x̅=4.56). while the optimistic and trustworthiness to ward fellow countryman component gained the lowest level (x̅=3.52) .Problem found was that the students still lack participation and expression in political activities. Further suggestions is that there should encourage a curriculum with learning content that integrates democratic principles as well as opportunity to present their opinions freely and to express freely and constructively on political participation in democratic systems.
