Guidelines for Sustainable Development of Agriculture in Banchanode Group Khlongyong-Lantakfa Community: A Case Study of Community Mill Community Enterprise Banchanode, Lantakfa Subdistrict, Nakhonchaisi District, Nakhonpathom Province

Abstract

The objective of this research was to find a way to develop sustainable agriculture in the Banchanode group Khlongyong-Lantakfa Community according to the principles of sustainable agriculture on a new normal. The research was qualitative research using in-depth interviews and focus group discussions. The target group for collecting specific data consisted of 30 agriculture farmers with triangular data validation. The results revealed that the majority of agriculture farmers are male, age between 20-65 years old and with not more than primary level of education. Their monthly income is lower than 10,000 baht. The results also showed that guidelines for the sustainable development of agriculture are organic agriculture using the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy in its operations, there are enough members to streamline operations and using direct message methods for quick access and confidence in quality. It has its own standpoint that will not give away for free to create value for productivity. Also, there is Pookpinto or meal reserving service to create income stability and organic agriculture makes it safe to consume as no chemical contaminants for both producers and consumers. This makes them sustainable healthy as well as trust and confidence. Moreover, it is needed to create a variety of markets for sustainability in production and emphasize self-reliance for sustainable self-sustainability.
