According to a case study by the Department of Dance Performance, the Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, Chulalongkorn University, using the crisis as an opportunity to find guidelines to design dance performances in universities in the crisis of the COVID -19 epidemic, taking into account quality and safety through online presentation instead of on-stage performance. Students need to design the performance to meet the measures in such a situation. As a result, students presented in a form of contemporary dance and applied Thai dance more than other forms, by performing the idea that directly reflects many stories, both positive and negative, of the current epidemic situation and also more complicated comparative concepts. The performance is designed as a video, mixing the techniques of motion capture with dance design and choice of setting, freely according to the designer’s ideas, considering the safety, cost saving and appropriate solution of the problems. By the way of creative design, it is an additional channel to watch dance performances conveniently and quickly, which meets the needs of new generations, and it can be developed into new productions to be used in other professions in the future.
