Development of Agricultural Service Reservation System for Farmers

Abstract

The objectives of this research were: 1) To study and analyze the requirements for an agricultural service reservation system for farmers in Khlongkhuean Subdistrict, Khlongkhuean District, Chachoengsao Province; 2) To develop an agricultural service reservation system for farmers 3) To study the satisfaction with the agricultural service reservation system for farmers. The research was conducted in 3 phases. Phase 1: using qualitative research method using interviewing a sample group of local leaders of Khlongkhuen Subdistrict related to agriculture and farmers of Khlongkhuen Subdistrict. The snowball sample was selected, totaling 20 people. Phase 2 used a research and development model with the SDLC model using extreme programming. Phase 3 used a quantitative research model to study the satisfaction of a sample group of local leaders of Khlongkhuen Subdistrict related to agriculture and farmers of Khlongkhuen Subdistrict. The sample was selected purposively using a satisfaction questionnaire. The sample group consisted of 20 people.

The research results show that

1) From the study and analysis of the system requirements, it was found that the system should collect agricultural service providers from various areas into a single platform so that farmers can conveniently compare services and prices. In addition, there should be an easy-to-use search function divided by service category.

2) System development results According to the system development method using the SDLC model with extreme programming, the system is available via the website https://bsfas.com, consisting of a user management system, membership registration, login, service booking, and service rating. 3) The satisfaction assessment results found that overall satisfaction was at a high level (=4.13, SD=1.00). The user interface design aspect had the highest score (=4.23, SD=0.83), followed by information display aspect (=4.18, SD=0.87), and the last aspect was system usability aspect (=4.06, SD=1.12). In conclusion, the developed agricultural service booking system effectively meets the needs of farmers. The system features allow farmers to easily and conveniently search for services. The system also received high satisfaction scores in terms of design and information presentation, promoting efficient access to agricultural services through an online platform. This system has the potential to be expanded to other areas in the future.
