The Development of Reading Pronunciation Ability of Students Prathomsuksa 2 through Brain-Based Learning Strategies and Reading Pronunciation

Abstract

The purposes of this research were : to improve the reading aloud abilities by using brain-based learning arrangements combined with reading aloud exercises to pass the 75%. The target group was 15 students in grade 2/6 students, semester 2nd, academic Year 2023, Nong Saeng Sub-district, Wapi Pathum District, Maha Sarakham Province, under the Maha Sakham Primary Educational Service Area Office 2 The research tools are: 1) 8 learning management plans for the development of reading of Pratomsuksa 2 students through Brain-Based learning activities with reading aloud exercises, 2 hours each, total 16 hours. 2) The read-aloud assessment consists of 2 parts: part 1 is read aloud with a total of 20 words with 2 copies, and part 2 is 3 multiple-choice with 5 questions and 2 copies. 3) pronunciation assessment 4) Interview. This research uses action research (AR) model by using development action in 2 cycles. The statistics used to for data with percentage, mean, standard deviation. and present the data by analyzing description.

The results of the study were as follows: Prathomsuksa 2 students learning by brain-based learning activities with reading aloud exercises are the subject of reading words with spelling not in accordance with the section. There are details of each cycle as follows. The development process in the 1st round has 6 students who passed the criteria on average of 71.05 and did not pass the criteria of 9 students. The development process in the 2nd round has 15 students who passed the criteria on average of 90.92
