Digital Leadership of School Adminstrators Affecting the Creation of Learning Organization in Bangkok School

Abstract

This research article aimed to achieve four objectives: 1) to study the level of digital leadership among school administrators in schools under the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA), 2) to study the level of learning organization creation in BMA schools, 3) to study the relationship between school administrators’ digital leadership and the creation of a learning organization in BMA schools, and 4) to study the influence of school administrators’ digital leadership on the creation of a learning organization in BMA schools. The sample size was determined using Cohen’s ready-made table at a significance level of .05, resulting in a total of 370 teacher participants. Multi-stage random sampling was employed, which included cluster sampling and simple random sampling. The research instrument was a questionnaire with a reliability coefficient of 0.986. The statistics utilized were percentage, mean, standard deviation, Pearson’s product-moment correlation coefficient, and Multiple Linear Regression Analysis using the Enter method.
 
The key findings were:
 
1) the overall level of school administrators’ digital leadership was high;
 
2) the overall and individual aspects of learning organization creation in BMA schools were also at a high level;
 
3) the digital leadership of school administrators and the creation of a learning organization in BMA schools were positively and highly correlated, statistically significant at the .01 level; and
 
4) school administrators’ digital leadership influenced the creation of a learning organization in BMA schools, with a regression coefficient (R) of 0.784, an explanatory power of 61.41%, statistically significant at the .05 level. The regression equation was derived from this result.
