The Study of Learning Ecosystem of Educational Institutions in Pathum Thani Province

Abstract

This research aimed to study contextual of the learning ecosystem in educational institutions for active learning that was survey research. The population consists of school director and teacher of 330 schools in Pathum Thani Province. The sample size was determined using multistage randomization for the sample size of 181 schools. The instrument for collecting data was questionnaire. Data analysis using descriptive statistics. The research results were found as follows; the context of the learning ecosystem between the school and community, in terms of teachers' qualifications that facilitate the learning ecosystem between schools and communities, the average was at a good level with total average 4.12 ± 0.75. The context of the learning ecosystem between the school and community, in terms of learning management that is conducive to the learning ecosystem between schools and communities with total average 4.27 ± 0.70. The context of the learning ecosystem between the school and community, the role of the school in contributing to the learning ecosystem between the school and the community with total average 4.25 ± 0.76. The data showed that the average of the teachers' qualifications that contributed to the learning ecosystem between the school and the community was the lowest overall average. When considering the average for each item, it was found that the learning process design based on the learning ecosystem concept was the least average 3.85 ± 0.79. Therefore, the learning process design based on the learning ecosystem concept is the information for the implementation of the learning ecosystem to increase the potential of learners in the 21st century and according to sustainable development goal 4, ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.
