The Results of Learning Management in Geography Course Using to the Cooperative Learning with the Jigsaw Technique on Learning Achievement of Mathayomsuksa 3 Students

Abstract

This research has the objective 1) to compare the learning achievement in geography of Mathayomsuksa 3 students before and after study, that have been managed to learn cooperatively with jigsaw techniques 2) to study the progress of economics grades of Mathayomsuksa 3 students who received cooperative learning management using jigsaw technique. The sample consisted of 40 students in Mathayom Suksa 3/2 at, which was obtained by simple random sampling. Research instruments such as 1) learning management plan Geography Using cooperative learning With a jigsaw technique 2)a geography study achievement test the statistics used in this research were percentage and t-test.The results of the research were as follows: 1)  Mathayom Suksa 3 students who are managed by jigsaw technique have academic achievement in geography after study higher than before study with statistical significance at the .05 level. 2) Mathayom Suksa 3 students who are managed by jigsaw technique, there was a percentage of progress in the academic achievement of geography higher than the criterion, accounting for 34.40%.
