The Study of Relationship Between School Administration’s Academic Leadership and Teachers’ Teamwork in Schools under Secondary Educational Service Area Office 2

Abstract

          The purpose of the research was to study 1) the level of school administrator’s academic leadership, 2) the level of teachers’ teamwork, 3) the relationship between school administrator’s academic leadership and teachers’ teamwork, and 4) to offer the development approaches of school administrator’s academic leadership and teachers’ teamwork under Secondary Educational Service Area Office 2. The population was 361 teachers compared by the tables of Krejcie and Morgan. The research instrument was the questionnaire; the reliability of the questionnaire was .99. The data were analyzed by the percentage, mean, standard deviation method, and the Pearson Product Moment Correlation Coefficient.

         The result of the research showed that 1) the level of school administrator’s academic leadership by the whole and individual aspects was at the high level, 2) the level of teachers’ teamwork by the whole and individual aspects was at the high level, 3) the relationship between school administrator’s academic leadership and teachers’ teamwork has mutual acceptance aspects at the .01 level, and 4) the development approaches of school administrator’s academic leadership and teachers’ teamwork under Secondary Educational Service Area Office 2 were analyzed from the highest level as follows: 1) building innovation and atmosphere and 2) student learning’s evaluation.
