Abstract


The objectives of this research were: (1 )To parents’ participation in learning enhancement of students in Banphueng (Matuleeprachasan) School the Sisaket Primary Educational Service Area Office 1; and (2) To compare parents’ participation in learning enhancement of students in Banphueng (Matuleeprachasan) School the Sisaket Primary Educational Service Area Office 1 as classified by gender, age, educational level and occupation.


               This research methoddogy was a survey research. The population were the parents of the students in Banphueng (Matuleeprachasan) School the Sisaket Primary Educational Service Area Office 1, totaling 290 persons.  By using Krejcie and Morgan’s sample size determination table and simple random sampling, the researcher selected the study sample who were the parents of the students in Banphueng (Matuleeprachasan) School, totaling 165 persons. The instrument used for collecting the data was a 5-level scale questionnaire. The statistics used for analyzing the collected data were frequency, percentage, mean, Standard Deviation, t-test and one-way ANOVA.


               The result of the research found that: (1)The parents’participation in learning enhancement of students in Banphueng (Matuleeprachasan) School the Sisaket Primary Educational Service Area Office 1 was at the high level in all aspects, and after item analysis, it was found that each aspect of parents’ participation in learning enhancement of the students was at high level. The mean scores listed in order from the highest to the lowest included learning at home, cooperating with the community in students’ upbringing and communicating with students; and (2) According to the comparison results, it was found that, as classified by gender, educational level and occupation, the parents’ participation in learning enhancement of students in Banphueng (Matuleeprachasan) School the Sisaket Primary Educational Service Area Office 1 overall and individual was not different.
