The purpose of this research was to study and validate the approaches for developing digital leadership among teachers in the Satreeprasertsin Educational Sub-Area under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office, Chanthaburi–Trat. A mixed-methods research design was employed and conducted in three phases: 1) To examine current and desired states and needs for developing teachers’ digital leadership, using an online questionnaire administered to 118 teachers in the Satreeprasertsin Educational Sub-Area. The data were analyzed using mean, standard deviation, and the Priority Needs Index (PNI). 2) To design the approaches for developing teachers’ digital leadership, based on data obtained from experts, specialists, and related stakeholders through semi-structured interviews, with the data analyzed using content analysis. 3) To validate the proposed approaches, using focus group discussions with school administrators, secondary school teachers, and school board members in the Satreeprasertsin Educational Sub-Area. The proposed approaches were used together with focus group questions, and the data were analyzed through content analysis. The findings revealed the following: 1) The current and desired states of digital leadership, as well as the development needs, were rated at a high level overall, with the desired state rated the highest. 2) The study identified five key development areas: Digital Capabilities, Digital for Teachers, Digital Literacy, Digital Citizenship, and Digital Mindset. A total of 25 development approaches were proposed. 3) The validation of the proposed development approaches confirmed their appropriateness and practical feasibility.
