WEB APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT FOR SERVICE AND LEARNING FOR BURAPHA UNIVERSITY LIBRARY

This research is a Research and Development (R&D) study with the following objectives: 1) develop a Web Application for services and learning for Burapha University Library, 2) evaluate the quality of the Web Application by experts, and 3) assess user satisfaction with the Web Application for services and learning. The ADDIE Model software development process was employed for the operation.
The developed Web Application comprises key functions, including a Smart Classroom with a mobile-controlled automatic door opening and closing system for users, a Web Board with a search function to facilitate questions and answers, a Poll system for surveying service opinions and information access popularity, and an e-Resource system for accessing information resources.
The sample groups for this research consisted of 380 library users and 20 library staff. The research instruments included the developed Web Application, a Web Application quality evaluation form for experts, and a Web Application user satisfaction questionnaire. The statistics used for data analysis were the mean () and standard deviation (S.D.).
The research findings revealed that: 1) The developed Web Application includes key functions such as a Smart Classroom with a mobile-controlled automatic door opening and closing system for users, a Web Board with a search function to assist in Q&A, a Poll system for surveying service opinions and information access popularity, and an e-Resource system for accessing information resources. 2) The developed Web Application exhibited the highest level of quality (= 5.00) based on evaluations by software experts across all aspects: system functionality according to user requirements, ease of system use, and data security. 3) The evaluation of user satisfaction with the Web Application showed that both the library user group (
= 4.22, S.D.= 0.58) and the library staff group (
= 4.29, S.D.= 0.59) expressed a high level of satisfaction.
In conclusion, the developed Web Application effectively meets the needs of both users and staff at the library, demonstrating its quality and potential to enhance library services and learning.
