THE EFFECTS OF USING BASIC SCIENCE PROCESS SKILLS ACTIVITY TRAINING PACKAGES ON SCIENCE PROCESS SKILLS LEARNING ACHIEVEMENT AND SCIENTIFIC ATTITUDES OF PRATHOM SUKSA IV-VI STUDENTS OF PRIMARY SCHOOLS IN SUN TON MUE SUB-DISTRICT OF CHAING MAI PROVINCE

The purposes of this research were to 1) compare the science process skills learning achievement of Students, who learned using basic science process skills activity training packages between pretest and posttest and with the 70 percent criteria, and
2) compare scientific attitude of students, who learned by using basic science process skills activity training packages between pretest and posttest and with the 70 percent criteria. The research sample consisted of 22 Pratom Suksa IV – VI students in Ban San Por Tong school in San Ton Mue subdistrict, Chiang Mai province, obtained by cluster random sampling. The employed research instruments included 1) basic science process skills activity packages. 2) basic science process skills achievement test, and 3) scientific attitudes scale. Statistics for data analysis were the mean, standard deviation, and t-test (dependent sample). Research findings showed that 1) The science process skills achievement of students was higher than before learning and was higher than the 70 percent criteria with statistically significant at .05 level and 2) scientific attitude of students was higher than before learning and was higher than the 70 percent criteria with statistically significant at .05 level.
