THE TEACHING AND LEARNING MANAGEMENT THROUGH LITERATURE-BASED APPROACH WITH REAP STRATEGY TO DEVELOP ANALYTICAL THINKING ABILITY OF ELEVENTH GRADE STUDENTS

Abstract

The objectives of this research were 1) to compare the Analytical Thinking ability of Eleventh Grade Students before and after Learning Management through Literature-Based Approach with REAP Strategy, 2) to compare the Analytical Thinking ability of Eleventh Grade Students after Learning Management through Literature-Based Approach with REAP Strategy with the criteria of 80 percentage, and 3) to study the satisfaction of Eleventh Grade Students by using Literature-Based learning management with REAP strategies. The sample consisted of Eleventh Grade Students in the academic year 2022 at BangkrathumPittayakom School, which was obtained by Purposive Sampling. The Research instrument consists of 1) Lesson plan by using Learning Management through Literature-Based Approach with REAP Strategy, 2) The test Analytical Thinking ability, and 3) Assessment of students' satisfaction with Literature-Based learning management in conjunction with REAP strategies. The statistics used in data analysis were the average, percentage, standard deviation, t-test dependent and t-test one sample. The results of this research were shown as follows 1) The Analytical Thinking ability of Eleventh Grade Students after Learning Management through Literature-Based Approach with REAP Strategy was statistically significantly higher than before using it at the .05 level 2)The Analytical Thinking ability of Eleventh Grade Students after Learning Management through Literature-Based Approach with REAP Strategy was statistically significantly higher than the criteria 80 percent threshold at the .05 level and 3) Eleventh Grade Students satisfaction toward Learning Management through Literature-Based Approach with REAP Strategy was at the highest level.
