Abstract
Learning to promote critical thinking of teachers is the key to development of teachers with the knowledge and skills in teaching and learning to be successful. The Research Aims to 1) study the elements and indicators of learning to encourage thinking under Udonthani Primary Education Service Area Office 4 2) to study current adverse conditions in the curriculum to promote critical thinking under Udonthani Primary Education Service Area Office 4 and 3) to develop guidelines for teachers to manage learning to promote critical thinking under Udonthani Primary Education Service Area Office 4.The research is divided into third period. Phase 1 study the elements and indicators of learning encourage thinking to promote critical thinking, Phase 2 study of the present and the desirable of learning to promote critical thinking, Phase 3 design the teacher development for teaching and learning to promote critical thinking. The samples used for the research in phase 1 that including an expert amount 5 persons and teachers focus group discussion amount 9 persons. The instruments used in collecting data contains : Questionnaires rating scale 5 levels, observation form and evaluating the appropriateness possibilities and the statistics used to analyze data are percent , an average , standard deviation and analyze and prioritization
The results showed that :
1. The elements in learning management to promote critical thinking under Udonthani Primary Education Service Area Office 4 has 6 elements and indicators of the 29 indicators.
2. Results of the current study in learning management to promote critical thinking under Udonthani. The overall with an average at high level when considering that it was found that the side with the highest rate are the conclusion of the thinking , discussions of the idea/ think offering and the readiness. The present situation is a problem, and coaching a group. This is the same and with an average minimum of thinking individually.
Results of the study are desirable in learning management to promote critical thinking under Udonthani Primary Education Service Area Office 4 has overall at the highest level. Considering that it was found. The side with the highest average is the situation at issue, followed by the preparation. The thinking is needed. The conclusion of the idea / concept discussion / presentation of ideas and evaluating ideas / applications. This is the same and with an average minimum of thinking individually.
3. Assessment results development approach, teachers in the Learning management to promote the critical thinking under Udonthani Primary Education Service Area Office 4 overall suitability and the possibility at the highest level and considering was found All side are appropriate and possibilities in the most respectively and the results confirm to development the teachers by discussion groups (Focus Group Discussion) the results show that there is a reasonable possibility.
