Abstract

This research aims to 1) develop learning activities using cooperative learning STAD techniques of Health and Physical Education in Life Safety unit for grade 8 students with effectiveness according to criteria 80/80,  2) study effective index of achievement with students who learn the cooperative learning STAD technique,  3) to compare achievement of the students who learn with the cooperative learning STAD techniques,  4) study the satisfaction of the students on learning with cooperative learning STAD techniques. Target group was 40 students from grade 8 at Srisukpittayachom school, Kantarawichai District, Mahasarakham Province academic year 2013. Tool used in the research was learning management plans by using cooperative learning STAD techniques with total of 8 plans. The achievement test and satisfaction questionnaire. The statistics used in data analysis were percentage, standard deviation, and t-test (Dependent Samples). The results were as followed:


       1. Learning activities of cooperative learning STAD techniques in Life Safety unit have effectiveness of 83.47/83.17, which was higher than the 80/80.


       2. Effectiveness Index of achievement in Grade 8 students who learning by cooperative learning STAD techniques is 0.7332 or 73.32 percent.


       3. The students who learning by cooperative learning STAD techniques have higher achievement test at statistically significance at .01 level.


       4. The students were satisfied with the learning by cooperative learning STAD technique as a whole was at high level.
