Innovation plays a critical role in the effectiveness of organizations. Understanding what factors enhance innovation is beneficial to build organizational innovation. A number of studies have shown that transformational leadership positively influences organizational innovation. The aim of this study was to describe the influences of transformational leadership on organizational innovation through mediator variables. The study results indicated that six variables, including Competitive Culture, Support for Creativity, Empowerment Climate, Organizational Learning, Trust between Employee and Knowledge Sharing were found to be mediators of the relationship between transformational leadership and organizational innovation. This paper concluded with a discussion on the influencing of transformational leadership on organizational innovation through mediator variables and implications for human resource development.
