Factors Affecting Acceptance of a Personal Driver’s License Renewal System of People Using the Services of the Sukhothai Provincial Land Transport Office

The objectives of this research were 1) to study the important levels of the environmental conditions promoting the use of the technology, the perception of the technology characteristics, and the acceptance of the use of the training system for renewing personal driver’s licenses and 2) to study factors affecting the acceptance of the training system for renewing personal driver’s licenses meaning people who used the services for renewing driver’s licenses in the type of the personal cars from Sukhothai Provincial Transport Office. The sample size was determined by Taro Yamane Formula. The samples were 373 people randomized by simple sampling. The research instrument was a questionnaire. The data were analyzed by using computer programs to find frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and the analysis of the relationship between the primary variables and the dependent variables by using the multiple regression analysis.
The research finding were as follows.
- The important level of the environmental conditions promoting the use of the technology in the overall was at a high level, the important level of the perception of the technology characteristics was at the highest level, and the important level of the acceptance of the use of the system in the overall was at the highest level.
- The factors affecting the acceptance of the training system for renewing the personal driver’s licenses included social influence, facility conditions for using, services. They were used to predict the acceptance of the training system for renewing the personal driver’s licenses for driving personal cars and other people who used the services from Sukhothai Provincial Transport Office by 38.80% with the statistical significance at the level of 0.05. The factors affecting the perception of the technology characteristics included the perception of the benefits obtained and the perception of the easiness in using. They were used together to predict the acceptance of the training system for renewing personal driver’s licenses for driving personal cars and other people who used the services from Sukhothai Provincial Transport Office by 47.30% with the statistical significance at the level of .05.
