Relationship between Transformational Leadership of School Administrators and Academic Administration Participation of the Teachers in the Schools under Surin Primary Educational Service Area Office 3

The objectives of this study were 1) to study the level of the transformational leadership of the school administrators under Surin Primary Educational Service Area Office 3, 2) to study the level of the academic administration participation of the teachers in the schools under Surin Primary Educational Service Area Office 3, and 3) to study the relationship between transformational leadership and the school administrations and the academic administration participation of the teachers in the schools under Surin Primary Educational Service Area Office 3. The samples used in the study consisted of 341 teachers in the schools under Surin Primary Educational Service Area Office 3. The sample size was determined based on Krejcie’s and Morgan’s Table. The samples were randomized by stratified random sampling based on the proportion of the population in each district and sample random sampling. The research instrument used to collect data was a five-rating scale questionnaire with the reliability of 0.983 in the second part and the reliability of 0.984 in the third part. The statistics were percentage, mean, standard deviation, and Pearson Correlation.
The research findings were as follows.
- The level of the transformational leadership of the school administrators under Surin Primary Educational Service Area Office 3 in the overall and in each aspect was at a high level.
- The level of the academic administration participation of the teachers in the schools under Surin Primary Educational Service Area Office 3 was at a high level.
- The transformational leadership of the school administrators and the academic administration participation of the teachers in the schools under Surin Primary Educational Service Area Office 3 had relationship to each other at a medium level with the statistical significance at the level of .01.
