A Study of the Digital Technological Leadership of the School Administrators in the Private Schools under Ubon Ratchathani Provincial Education Office

The objectives of the research were 1) to study the digital technological leadership of the school administrators in the private schools under Ubon Ratchathani Provincial Education Office, 2) to study the findings of the comparison of the digital technological leadership of the school administrators in the private schools under Ubon Ratchathani Provincial Education Office classified by positions, working experiences, and education degrees, and 3) to study guidelines for developing the digital technological leadership of the school administrators in the private schools under Ubon Ratchathani Provincial Education Office. The samples were 346 respondents consisting of 21 school administrators and 325 teachers. The were randomized by stratified random sampling. The research instrument was a questionnaire. The data were analyzed by percentage, mean, standard deviation, and t-test.
The research findings were as follows.
- The digital technological leadership of the school administrators in the private schools under Ubon Ratchathani Provincial Education Office in the overall was at a high level.
- The findings of the comparison of the digital technological leadership of the school administrators in the private schools under Ubon Ratchathani Provincial Education Office showed that the school administrators and the teachers classified by positions in the overall were different with the statistical significance at the level of .05, they classified by working experiences in the overall and in each aspect were not different, and they classified by education degrees in the overall were different with the statistical significance at the level of .05.
- The guidelines for developing the digital technological leadership of the school administrators in the private schools under Ubon Ratchathani Provincial Education Office were that the school administrators should determine the development of the digital technology to be modern, analyze the weak-strong points of the digital technology to regulate the ICT vision of the schools clearly, facilitate the digital technology for the students, use the digital technology in managing the school budgets and organizations and developing the schools, and use the digital technology in analyzing the students’ data, measuring the students’ learning achievement, evaluating and measuring the results of the students’ study. The schools should not give the data to other people without getting the permission from the owners of the data and should not disturb other people.
