Quality Assurance Operation within the Educational Institutions under the Office of Sisaket Primary Educational Service Area 3

Abstract

              The objectives of the research were 1) to study conditions of the quality assurance operation within the educational institutions under the Office of Sisaket Primary Educational Service Area 3, 2) to compare the conditions of the quality assurance operation within the educational institutions under the Office of Sisaket Primary Educational Service Area 3 classified by positions, work experiences, and school sizes, and 3) to study recommendations and guidelines of the quality assurance operation within the educational institutions under the Office of Sisaket Primary Educational Service Area 3. The samples were 306 participants: 96 school administrators randomized by stratified random sampling based on the proportional allocation and 210 teachers randomized by stratified random sampling based on the proportional allocation in the schools under the Office of Sisaket Primary Educational Service Area 3. The research instrument was a questionnaire. The statistics were percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, and F-test.

           The research findings were as follows.

1. The quality assurance operation within the educational institutions under the Office of Sisaket Primary Educational Service Area 3 in the overall and in each aspect was at a high level.
2. The findings of the comparison of the respondents' opinions towards the quality assurance operation within the educational institutes under Sisaket Primary Educational Service Area Office 3 classified by positions, work experiences, and school sizes showed that the respondents’ opinions towards the quality assurance operation within the educational institutes under Sisaket Primary Educational Service Area Office 3 in the overall were not different with the statistical significance at the level of .05.

            3. The school administrators and the teachers gave the recommendations and the guidelines of the quality assurance operation within the educational institutions under the Office of Sisaket Primary Educational Service Area 3 that 1) in the operation planning, the educational institutions should provide knowledge and understanding to personnel to realize the values of the quality assurance within the educational institutions by having the personnel developed knowledge and education about quality assurance skills to create the realization of the values of the quality assurance, 2) in the performance based on the planning, the educational institutions should support budgets and resources to operate the educational quality assurance systematically, to support the educational quality assurance, and to make the educational quality assurance effective to be ready to be used because the budgets and the resources were the important mechanism that helped drive the educational quality assurance operation to achieve the targets by controlling the use of the budgets based on planning regulated to be worthiness and to receive the highest efficiency, 3) in the statistical investigation, the educational institutions should have methods in collecting the data of the quality assurance operation systematically, and 4) in the use of the evaluation results to develop the educational institutions, the educational institutions should bring the evaluation results to improve and develop the educational quality assurance.
