The Quality Improvement in Early Childhood Education by Small Sized School Administrators under Krabi Primary Educational Service Area Office

The purpose of this research were to study the knowledge, the comprehension, the operations, and the problems in the quality improvement in early childhood education by small sized school administrators under Krabi Primary Educational Service Area Office, in accordance with the standard of the early childhood education of the Office of the Basic Education Commission. The subjects in this research were 94 small school administrators under Krabi Primary Educational Service Area Office. The tools used in the data collection was the rating-scale questionnaire. The statistical used for data analysis were percentage, mean, and standard deviation. The research findings were as follows: 1. The knowledge and the comprehension in the quality improvement in early childhood education of the small sized school administrators under Krabi Primary Educational Service Area Office was at a high level as a whole. When each aspect was considered, it was found that all aspects were also at a high level. The administrators had the most knowledge and the comprehension in the standard of the administration and educational management followed by standard of learning management, standard of children’s quality and standard of development of learning community, respectively. 2. The operations of quality improvement in early childhood education by the small sized school administrators under Krabi Primary Educational Service Area Office was at a high level as a whole. When each aspect was considered, it was found that all of the aspects were also at a high level. The administrators mostly operated the standard of the administration and educational management followed by the standard of children’s quality, standard of learning management, and standard of development of learning community. 3. The problems in the quality improvement in early childhood education of the small-sized school administrators under Krabi Primary Educational Service Area Office were at a low level as a whole. When each aspect was considered, it was found that all aspects were also at a low level. The administrators had major problems in the standard of the development the learning community followed by the standard of children’s quality, standard of learning management and, standard of education administration and management.
