Abstract

The objective of this research is to study the problems and legal The objective of this research is to study the problems and legal measures for agricultural tourism management. The study aims to analyze the legal measures for agro tourism management and to propose recommendations for improving the legal measures related to agro tourism management in the area of Phu Ngoen Sub-District, Kantaralak District, Si Sa Ket Province.

From the study, it was found that there are no specific laws related to agro tourism management, advertising, contracts, accommodation, and tourist activities in cases where tourists are endangered or injured. Instead, general commercial and civil laws are applied to claim compensation. Additionally, there are no specific legal provisions related to the tour guide for agro tourism, leading to inefficiencies in agro tourism management. Furthermore, there are no regulations in place to control the prices of goods and services, especially the specific punishment defined in cases where businesses in the tourism sector do not display prices for goods and services. Local government organizations, despite their involvement in agro tourism management and their authority to enforce laws within their jurisdiction, do not yet have standardized regulations in place.

Therefore, to standardize agro tourism management, it is essential to involve local organizations, especially municipalities and sub-district administrative organizations, in the process. This can be achieved by establishing an 'Agro Tourism Committee' tasked with managing agro tourism. These organizations should also have the authority to enforce laws within their jurisdiction, particularly concerning advertising, contracts, accommodations, tourist activities, ethical considerations, and pricing of goods and services. This is to control and to ensure the quality and standards of agro tourism, leading toward a model for future tourism development.
