Comprehension And Attitude Toward General Election Under Kingdom Of Thailand’s Constitution B.E. 2560 of The People Chaiyaphum Province

This research aims to study the comprehension, the attitude, and the situation of media exposure of election Under Kingdom of Thailand’s Constitution B.E. 2560, and to discover the guideline to promote the comprehension and positive attitude of Election Under Kingdom Of Thailand’s Constitution B.E. 2560. The samples were Chaiyaphums’ voters. The quantitative data were analyzed by mean, SD, Percentage and the qualitative data were analyzed by the ming analysis.
The results shown that The samples were 178 men (44.5%) and 222 women (55.5%). The majority of samples were 31-40 year old. The education level was high school (35%), bachelor degree (21.25%) and primary school (19.25%). The occupations were farmer (32.25%), owner business (19.25%), and government staff (16.25%).
The mean of the comprehension of election under Kingdom of Thailand’s Constitution B.E. 2560 score was 43.02 %. It was recognized as medium level.
The mean of the attitude of election Under Kingdom of Thailand’s Constitution B.E. 2560 score was 2.30. It is recognized as negative attitude.
The mean of the situation of media exposure of election Under Kingdom Of Thailand’s Constitution B.E. 2560 score was 1.78. It is recognized as the samples did not regularly received the election information.
The guideline to promote the comprehension and positive attitude of Election Under Kingdom of Thailand’s Constitution B.E. 2560 should be developed and increased the trustworthiness level in political system. Politician is the significant person to increase this level. Political party should be stability and strength by keep the equitable of constitution, promote and distribute political knowledge, election to all people.
