บทความเรื่อง “ความขัดแย้งระหว่างประเทศว่าด้วยการส่งเสริมการค้ากับการคุ้มครองสิ่งแวดล้อม” แสดงให้เห็นวิวัฒนาการในทางบวกของการจัดเวทีความร่วมมือระหว่างประเทศที่ก่อให้เกิดความเข้าใจ และการแก้ปัญหา สำหรับข้อกล่าวหาที่ว่าการคุ้มครองสิ่งแวดล้อมเป็นอุปสรรคสำหรับการส่งเสริมการค้าระหว่างประเทศ และการค้าระหว่างประเทศเป็นต้นเหตุของปัญหาสิ่งแวดล้อม องค์การการค้าโลกนับเป็นวิวัฒนาการของข้อตกลงเกี่ยวกับการค้าและภาษี หรือ แกตต์ ได้ให้การยอมรับความสำคัญของการคุ้มครองสิ่งแวดล้อม ก่อให้เกิดความตกลงและกฎเกณฑ์ที่เป็นแนวทางปฏิบัติที่ชัดเจนเป็นประโยชน์กับทั้งการส่งเสริมการค้าและการคุ้มครองสิ่งแวดล้อม

This article entitled “International Debate between Trade Promotion and Environmental Protection” reviews an evolution of international cooperation which is beneficial for an understanding and solution for an allegation that a barrier for the promotion of international trade is environmental protection and that international trade is a source of environmental degradation. The World Trade Organization which is a new generation of the General Agreement of Trade and Tariff recognized the importance of environmental concern. It has worked out agreement and rules that benefit promotion of international trade and environmental protection.
