บทคัดย่อ
บทความวิจัยนี้ศึกษาเกี่ยวกับการพัฒนารูปแบบการจัดการขยะในชุมชนท่องเที่ยวเชิงวัฒนธรรมอย่างมีส่วนร่วม ชุมชนวัดมหาธาตุ จังหวัดนครพนม มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อหาแนวทางในการพัฒนารูปแบบการจัดการขยะในชุมชนที่เป็นเมืองท่องเที่ยวเชิงวัฒนธรรม และหาแนวทางในการลดปริมาณขยะให้กับชุมชนเมืองท่องเที่ยวอย่างชัดเจนและเป็นรูปธรรม งานวิจัยนี้เป็นงานวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพและเชิงปริมาณ โดยใช้การวิจัยเชิงปฏิบัติการแบบมีส่วนร่วม โดยมีกลุ่มเป้าหมายคือชุมชนวัดมหาธาตุ วัดมหาธาตุ และมหาวิทยาลัยนครพนม เรียนรู้สถานการณ์ร่วมกัน การสรุปผลการเรียนรู้ร่วมกัน เพื่อหาปัญหาและแนวทางแก้ไขปัญหาร่วมกัน ทดลองปฏิบัติจริงโดยชุมชน และวิเคราะห์ผลการทดลอง เป็นต้น ซึ่งผลการวิจัยพบว่าการที่ชุมชนเข้ามามีส่วนร่วมทุกกระบวนการนั้นทำให้การดำเนินงานประสบความสำเร็จและเกิดผลเป็นรูปธรรมดังนี้ (1) เกิดคณะกรรมการดำเนินงานด้านการจัดการขยะระดับพื้นที่ (2) เกิดกระบวนการจัดการขยะทั้ง 4 ประเภท อย่างเป็นรูปธรรม (3) เกิดแหล่งเรียนรู้ภายในชุมชน (4) ปริมาณขยะประเภททั่วไปทั้งในชุมชนและภายในวัดมหาธาตุลดลง ร้อยละ 7.9
