องค์ประกอบของการเป็นมหาวิทยาลัยวิจัย

บทคัดย่อ

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ (1) ทราบองค์ประกอบของการเป็นมหาวิทยาลัยวิจัย และ (2) ทราบตัวแปรที่สามารถจำแนกกลุ่มมหาวิทยาลัยที่เป็นมหาวิทยาลัวิจัยและมหาวิทยาลัยที่ยังไม่เป็นมหาวิทยาลัยวิจัยการดำเนินการวิจัยประกอบด้วย การกำหนดตัวแปรทเี่กี่ยวข้องกับการวิจัย การพัฒนาเครื่องมือ การเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลและการวิเคราะห์ ข้อมูลและการยืนยันความเหมาะสมขององค์ประกอบและตัวแปรจำแนกมหาวิทยาลัยวิจัยที่ได้จากการวิเคราะห์ทางสถิติด้วยผู้เชี่ยวชาญ กลุ่มตัวอย่างและเครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยประกอบด้วย (1) กลุ่มผูเ้ชี่ยวชาญและผู้เกี่ยวข้อง จำนวน 8 คน ใช้แบบสัมภาษณ์กึ่งโครงสร้าง (2) กลุ่มผู้บริหารมหาวิทยาลัย กลุ่มอาจารย์/นักวิจัย และกลุ่มเจ้าหน้าที่สนับสนุน จำนวน 360 คน ใช้แบบสอบถามความคิดเห็น และ (3) กลุ่มผูเ้ชี่ยวชาญ จำนวน 5 คน ใช้แบบสอบถามความคิดเห็นการวิเคราะห์ ข้อมูลเชิงปริมาณใช้การหาค่าความถี่ ค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน การวิเคราะห์องค์ประกอบเชิงสำรวจ การวิเคราะห์การจำแนกกลุ่ม และการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลเชิงคุณภาพใช้การหาค่าความถี่และการวิเคราะห์เนื้อหา

ผลการวิจัยพบว่า 1) องค์ประกอบของการเป็นมหาวิทยาลัยวิจัย ประกอบด้วย 8 องค์ประกอบ คือ ระบบการบริหารจัดการ การนำผลงานวิจัยไปใช้และการสร้างเครือข่ายการวิจัย การพัฒนาบุคลากรด้านการวิจัย คุณภาพของอาจารย์/นักวิจัย การตีพิมพ์เผยแพร่ผลงานวิจัย การจัดตั้งศูนย์ความเป็นเลิศทางการวิจัย การเชื่อมโยงการวิจัยกับการเรียนการสอน และการบริหารทรัพย์สินทางปัญญา 2) ตัวแปรที่สามารถจำแนกกลุ่มมหาวิทยาลัยวิจัย ประกอบด้วย 6 ตัวแปร ได้แก่ โครงสร้างพื้นฐานในการทำวิจัย การบริหารงานวิจัย การบริหารทรัพย์สินทางปัญญา การตีพิมพ์เผยแพร่ผลงานวิจัย แรงจูงใจในการทำวิจัย และการเชื่อมโยงการวิจัยกับการเรียนการสอน

FACTORS OF RESEARCH UNIVERSITY

These research objectives were to determine (1) the components of research university, and (2) the discriminated variables of research university. Its procedure included: determination of related variables; development of data collection instruments; collection and analysis of data; and verification by specialist of components and discriminate variables from statistical analyses. Samples and instruments used in the research include: (1) 8 specialists by semi-structured interviews; (2) 360 administors, faculties, and supporting staffs by using opinionnaires; and (3) 5 specialists by using opinionnaires. Quantitative data were analyzed by using the descriptive statistics of frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation, and the inferential exploratory factor analysis and discriminant analysis. Qualitative data were processed by frequency and content analysis.

Findings were composed of: (1) components of the research university include manage system,research application and research networking, researcher development, quality of researcher, research publications, setting center of research excellent, research-based education, and intellectual properties management. (2) discriminated variable of research university were research infrastructure, research management, intellectual properties management, research publications, research motivation, and researchbased education.
