ธุรกิจระดับโลกกับเป้าหมายการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน

บทคัดย่อ
โลกของเราเผชิญความท้าทายอย่างมาก ไม่ว่าจะเป็นวิกฤตเศรษฐกิจ การเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศ ความมั่นคงทางอาหารและพลังงาน ความยากจน รวมไปถึงความไม่เท่าเทียม ถึงเวลาแล้วที่ภาคธุรกิจต้องดำเนินการเพื่อขับเคลื่อนเป้าหมายการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน บทความนี้นำเสนอเกี่ยวกับ มุมมองและผลลัพธ์จากการพัฒนาอย่างยั่งยืน เป้าหมายการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน และการดำเนินงานเพื่อความยั่งยืนของธุรกิจระดับโลก ผลการศึกษาพบว่า 1) ผลลัพธ์เชิงบวกที่เกิดขึ้นเมื่อธุรกิจนำแนวทางปฏิบัติที่ยั่งยืนมาใช้ ได้แก่ การขับเคลื่อนนวัตกรรม การปรับปรุงผลการดำเนินงานด้านการเงิน การสร้างความจงรักภักดีของลูกค้า การดึงดูดใจและสร้างความผูกพันต่อองค์กรของพนักงาน และการสร้างมูลค่าแก่นักลงทุน 2) เป้าหมายการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืนที่ธุรกิจระดับโลกให้ความสำคัญมาก 3 อันดับแรก ได้แก่ เป้าหมายที่ 8 การจ้างงานที่มีคุณค่าและการเติบโตทางเศรษฐกิจ เป้าหมายที่ 12 แผนการบริโภคและการผลิตที่ยั่งยืนและเป้าหมายที่ 13 การรับมือสภาพภูมิอากาศที่เปลี่ยนแปลง และ 3) การดำเนินงานเพื่อความเป็นพลเมืองที่ดีของธุรกิจบนเป้าหมายการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน เช่น การเคารพหลักสิทธิมนุษยชน การจ้างงานที่เป็นธรรม การพิทักษ์สิ่งแวดล้อม และการต่อต้านการคอร์รัปชั่น ซึ่งสามารถใช้เป็นแนวทางในการทำงานและบูรณากับองค์กรอื่นได้
