Household Accounting of Farmers Based on Sufficiency Economy Philosophy in Phatthalung Province

Abstract

This research aimed to 1) study condition and the household accounting by the philosophy of the sufficiency economy 2) study development format of the household  accounting  by the philosophy of the sufficiency economy and 3) study development of the household accounting by the philosophy of the sufficiency economy to the agriculturists in Phattalung Province. data was collected using questionnaire to interview the agriculturists in each district, 100 people a district. The total sample is 1,100 people. The statistical methods used for data analysis includes percentage, mean, and standard deviation.

The results showed that 1) Household accounting by the philosophy of the sufficiency economy from the agriculturists having a good readiness to face problems, the understanding of doing the household accounting, the knowledge and morality, the moderateness and having the rationality. 2)Household accounting by the philosophy of the sufficiency economy from the agriculturists, Phattalung Province the expenses, the cost calculation of their job, the development format of the household accounting, the income, and saving at the high level. And 3) Development of household accounting by the philosophy of the sufficiency economy the format and process of the record of household accounting, the knowledge application in their daily life, the behavior of doing the household accounting, the promotion of household accounting knowledge and the skill of accountant principal. For promotion of household accounting to the agriculturists in Phattalung Province, it should be  driven the policy proposal to manage the agriculturists’ household accounting along with the philosophy of the sufficiency economy
