Thai Phuan Identity Existence of Bandong Homestay through Sustainable Creative Tourism Context.

Abstract

This research aimed to study Thai Phuan identity existence of Bandong Homestay through sustainable creative tourism context. This study was qualitative research by using the Phenomenology methodology. The research was collected by 30 key performances; Executive Committee of Bandong Homestay, Bandong Homestay members, community leaders and Bandongkatongyam Sub-district Administration Organization members. The research instruments were in-depth interview, participatory observation, focus group and document analysis. The study was analyzed by descriptive technique.This research aimed to study Thai Phuan identity existence of Bandong Homestay through sustainable creative tourism context. The study was analyzed by descriptive technique.  The result of study showed that Thai Phuan had various outstanding of ethnic identity through social and culture. They were sustainably transferred and taught to next generation. Thai Phuan identity consist of 7 categories; 1) community context 2) architecture of houses 3) tradition and belief 4) costume  5) language  6) culinary and 7) occupation. For sustainable creative tourism at Bandong homestay contexts were categorized into 4 categories; 1) home-stay services 2) Takraw-Takrang handicraft production 3) sustainable creative tourism activities 4) Thai Phuan conservation and restoration of Bandong Home-stay guidelines
