Call for a New Type of Manuscript: Case Study Papers

The Journal of Architectural/Planning Research and Studies (JARS) is excited to announce a new category of manuscripts: Case Study Papers. This initiative seeks to foster in-depth, critical exploration and analysis of real-world applications in architecture, interior design, landscape architecture, urban planning, and urban design.
Scope of Case Study Papers:
- Architecture/Interior/Landscape Architecture: Explore specific buildings or communities of buildings through critical analysis grounded in theory and literature.
- Urban Planning/Design: Focus on particular sites or issues to illustrate broader principles with attention to context, character, connectivity, custodianship, and collaboration.
Submission Requirements:
- Case studies must demonstrate a rigorous assessment of the subject, its impact, and actionable recommendations for the future.
- Manuscripts should range between 5,000 to 8,000 words.
