Future Submission for JARS

Since 2002, the Journal of Architectural / Planning Research and Studies (JARS) has served as an advanced research and studies journal dedicating to fields of Architecture, Interior Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Urban Design and Planning, Real Estate Management, and Design Related Issues. Over the years, the journal continually improves to keep its position as a leading journal in the fields. Some of major updates include publishing bilingually, improving website, providing shorter submission to decision time, etc.

On behalf of JARS’s Editorial Board, I would like to make an announcement of the journal’s significant change. In the upcoming year of 2021, our aim is to reach for an international standard and to be indexed in an international database such as Scopus. And in order to reach the goals, accepting only English manuscript is essential. For a smooth transition, we will warmly welcome submission of manuscripts in both Thai and English from 1st January to 31st March, 2021. Beginning with 1st April, 2021, the submission for the journal needs to be in English only. 

Please be noted that the new submitted manuscripts can be published in Volume 19 (2022) Issue 2. However, with our in-progress online publishing format, the new accepted manuscript can come out at least 6 months in advance.

This transformation is a huge challenge for the journal in this dynamic era. I sincerely hope that JARS shall continue to be chosen by both submitters and readers. If there is any inquiry regarding English translation or others, please contact us. We will respond to any authors’ concern in a timely manner.
