Development of Products and Brands from Crocodile Meat to Increase Competitiveness of Community Enterprise Kon Sawangha, Ang Thong Province

Abstract

This Article aimed to 1) analyze the business potential (SWOT) of Community Enterprise Kon Sawangha Ang Thong Province ; 2) develop products and brands from crocodile meat of the community enterprise Kon Sawangha Ang Thong Province; and 3) transfer knowledge and marketing promotion to increase the competitiveness of community enterprise Kon Sawangha Ang Thong Province. This study was qualitative in nature. The instruments for collecting data were in-depth interviews and group discussions. The sample was a group of 30 people. They were selected by the purposive selection method. The research results were found as follows: 1) The business potential of the community enterprise group seeking Its strength is the integration of crocodile farmers and saw an opportunity to develop crocodile meat processing to create additional value and income in the community. 2) Developing products and brands from crocodile meat of Community Enterprise Kon Sawangha Ang Thong Province developed a smashed crocodile product and shredded crocodile under the brand "Khon Sawangha Community Enterprise. 3) Knowledge transfer and marketing promotion were done to increase the competitiveness of community enterprise groups. Members of crocodile farmers have organized a community enterprise group, Kon Sawangha to serve as a place to exchange knowledge, and product development to increase the income of people in the community. Marketing promotion through Facebook pages and setting up booths to sell products in the area of Ang Thong province and nearby provinces have been continuously done.
