COVID-19 Knowledge, Perception, and Preventive Behaviours, in The Elderly Club, Ubon Ratchathani Province.

Abstract
This research employs descriptive statistics to examine knowledge level, perception, and preventive behaviour to cope with the COVID -19 pandemic among the elderly. It analyses the relationship among personal factors, knowledge level of COVID -19, perception, and preventive behaviour among the members in one of the elderly clubs in Ubon Ratchathani. The samples are the 175 elderly members, and data were collected from the questionnaire to explore the informants’ knowledge, attitudes, and behaviours in preventing COVID-19. This research employs statistics such as average, percentage, standard deviation, and Pearson’s correlation coefficient to analyse the data.
The results show that 1) the level of knowledge and perception of the elderly was high while their disease preventive behaviour was median.2) Regarding the factors related to COVID-19 disease preventive behaviour and personal information, the research shows a positive correlation. A level of 0.01 is considered statistically significant. It has high levels of COVID-19 preventive behaviours (r=0.89). This is statistically significant with a level of 0.01. Meanwhile, the knowledge level is uncorrelated with their preventive behaviours against COVID -19. The perception was positively correlated with low levels of COVID-19 preventive behaviours (r=0.42).
