Influence of Organizational Justice on Job motivation, Job Demotivation and Job performance of the Support staffs at Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to study the influence of organizational justice on job motivation, job demotivation and job performance of the support staff at Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon. The random samples of 193 support staff were asked to complete the questionnaire.  The data was collected and analysed, using average percentage, standard deviation, and Pearson correlation coefficient. All hypotheses were tested with a simple linear regression model and a multiple linear regression model.


            The results showed that the level of organizational justice, job motivation and job performance of the support staff at Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon were high and the level of job demotivation was moderate. The job performance level was high. Moreover, the organizational justice positively contributed to incentives. Also, the job performance and organizational justice had a negative impact on demotivation in work.


            The results of this research will be beneficial for Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon in guiding, developing, and improving justice in the organization as well as building job motivation, which has an effect on job performance of the support staff, supporting the achievement of the organization goals to compete with other organizations, and having a sustainable future.


            In addition, future research should study other factors which may affect the quality of personnel’s work lives, such as stress and organizational culture by scoping the research differently and building awareness of personnel needs. This will be beneficial for developing quality of work life and potentially help the organization to achieve its goals. Besides, a further study on the same subject might be more useful. Conducting qualitative research using in-depth interviews with the education personnel and scholars in order to get more inside information could be a valuable contribution for future organization development.
