Factors Affecting Overall Satisfaction of Physical Characteristics in Active Learning Classrooms of Suranaree University of Technology

Abstract

This research aimed to study the factors influencing the overall satisfaction of each physical characteristic in the active learning classroom of Suranaree University of Technology. The population of this research was students who used the active learning classroom. The data had a total of 191 samples which were collected from checklist questionnaires. Multiple linear regression was performed using the Stepwise technique. The results were as follows: 1) Teaching suitability and compatibility had the greatest influence on the overall desk and chair satisfaction. 2) Having a clear view of an instructor's writing has the most influence on overall whiteboard satisfaction. 3) Having appropriate classroom audio and amplifiers in which the tone of voice can be heard clearly had the greatest influence on the overall satisfaction of audiovisual equipment. 4) Helping learners feel active or active at all times has the greatest influence on overall room space satisfaction. 5) lighting throughout the room had the greatest influence on overall classroom lighting satisfaction. 6) Helping learners concentrate on their studies had the greatest influence on overall classroom air quality satisfaction. Finally, 7) Motivating learners had the greatest influence on color tone satisfaction. All of them were statistically significant at 0.05.
