Abstract

Previous studies on knowledge management have consistently highlighted the significance of organizational context in determining its effectiveness. Moreover, knowledge management stands as a critical concern in fostering opportunities within public management, encompassing the processes of knowledge creation, storage, exchange, and application to enhance the effectiveness of public organizations. Consequently, this article endeavors to construct a framework delineating the factors influencing the success of knowledge management in the Thai public sector, drawing insights from 19 documentary studies. The identified factors affecting the success of knowledge management in the Thai public sector include human resource competency, leadership and human resource commitment, and organization culture and communication.
