Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • 1. I comply with the requirements of the Editorial Office by submitting:
    (1) The original manuscript
    (2) The submission form
    (3) Conducting a Format check"
  • 2. I hereby certify that the formatting of the original manuscript complies with the guidelines provided by the journal. (In the event that the formatting does not meet the journal's requirements, I consent to the journal's decision not to accept the article for publication.)
  • 3. I hereby certify that this article has not been previously published elsewhere, is not under consideration for publication in any other journal, is of significant interest, and is not outdated. It can be used for practical purposes.
  • 4. I take responsibility for the content presented in this article.
    (In the event of any claims regarding copyright infringement concerning any portion of the text in this article, both the author and co-authors shall be held responsible, but solely on their part.)
  • 5. I consent to the Editorial Office having the right to independently select and appoint reviewers to evaluate the submitted manuscript by myself (and co-authors), and I agree to allow the Editorial Office to make necessary revisions to the article as deemed appropriate.
  • The journal will communicate and notify various messages exclusively through Thai Journal Online. The system will send notifications to the email address of the article submitter. Therefore, please check your email inbox to see if you have received any messages from the system. *In case you have not received any emails, please check your Spam mail/Junk mail folder.
  • The journal requires a submission fee of 3,000 Baht per article. Please make the payment when the article passes the initial evaluation by the editorial board.

Article Processing Fee for  Humanities and Social Sciences Journal, Ubon Ratchathani University (effective from January 1, 2566 onwards) 3,000 Baht per article (to be paid after the article has passed the initial evaluation by the Editorial Office, in order to proceed with the subsequent review by qualified reviewers)

The Editorial Office specifies that all fees should be transferred via bank account only.

        After making the payment, please submit the proof of payment through the system or via email to ubusocj@ubu.ac.th. This will allow the Editorial Office to proceed with the next steps

* Note: The payment of the submission fee does not guarantee the acceptance and publication of the article in the Humanities and Social Sciences Journal, Ubonratchathani University. The article must undergo the evaluation process by qualified reviewers and the Editorial Office. The article will be reviewed by at least two qualified reviewers before the decision on publication is communicated to the authors. Please note that the submission fee is non-refundable, regardless of whether the article is accepted for publication in the journal or not.

Agreement for Article Submission and Publication is as follows:

  1. The submitted article must not have been previously published or currently under consideration for publication in any other journals or publications simultaneously.
    1.1. Published articles will be copyrighted by the  Humanities and Social Sciences Journal, Ubon Ratchathani University.

  2. In the event that the author wishes to withdraw the submitted article from the publication process, immediate notification must be directly provided to the Editor-in-Chief.

  3. If the author fails to revise the article within the specified timeframe, the journal reserves the right to consider withdrawing the article from the publication process.

  4. The article will be published upon successful revision according to the recommendations of the journal's editorial review process. The author will receive an acceptance letter for publication, and the printed version of the article can be obtained on each page (the journal does not publish in volume format).
