The Relationship Between School Administration Based on the Four Principles of Sangahavatthu and the Effectiveness of Personnel Administration (Network Groups 42-43, Nong Chok District Office, under the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration)

Abstract

The objectives of this research were: (1) to study school administration based on the Four Principles of Sangahavatthu and the effectiveness of personnel administration; (2) to examine the relationship between school administration based on the Four Principles of Sangahavatthu and personnel administration effectiveness; and (3) to explore administrative approaches based on the Four Principles of Sangahavatthu that influenced personnel administration effectiveness. The study employed questionnaires and semi-structured interviews. The sample consisted of 148 teachers and 5 experts from Network Groups 42–43 under the jurisdiction of the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration. Data were analyzed using Pearson’s product–moment correlation coefficient. The research findings revealed that school administration based on the Four Principles of Sangahavatthu was found to be at a high level and was positively correlated with personnel administration effectiveness at the .01 level of statistical significance (r = 0.76). In particular, the dimensions of personnel administration (r = 0.76) and academic administration (r = 0.73) showed strong positive relationships, while budget administration exhibited a moderate correlation (r = 0.65). The results reflected effective approaches to improving educational quality, fostering collaboration within schools, and promoting the sustainable development of a learning society.
