Abstract

This study aimed to: 1) examine applicant satisfaction with the online application system for the Academic Olympiad and Astronomy Olympiad Training Camp of the POSN Center, Faculty of Science, Khon Kaen University, for the 2024 academic year, and 2) to compare satisfaction levels among applicants on the online application system for the Academic Olympiad and Astronomy Olympiad Training Camp of the POSN Center, Faculty of Science, Khon Kaen University, for the 2024 academic year. The sample consisted of 377 participants, including students, teachers, and parents, selected through simple random sampling. The analysis was divided into three aspects: system usability, system efficiency, and system security. The statistical methods employed were frequency, percentage, Mann–Whitney U test, and Kruskal–Wallis test. The results revealed that the overall user satisfaction level was excellent (equation = 4.27, S.D. = 1.02). For system usability, the item with the highest satisfaction score was the convenience of paying the application fee (equation = 4.45, S.D. = 0.97). For system efficiency, the highest-rated item was the ease of accessing the system (equation = 4.29, S.D. = 1.02). For system security, the item with the highest satisfaction score was the appropriate assignment of access rights (equation = 4.37, S.D. = 0.97).
