Abstract

The objectives of this research are the comparison of efficiency and effectiveness between activated carbon in dishwashing liquid and wet powder that used applied to collect the latent fingerprints on adhesive side of three different types of tapes. Comparison of effectiveness of solution and wet powder by rating scale by expert from Latent Fingerprint Department then compare the efficiency by interview method between expert from crime scene department. The result of this research showed the activated carbon in dishwashing liquid in properly formulas have no significantly different effectiveness with wet powder on clear tape, leak seal tape and box sealing tape and have more efficiency than wet powder
