Abstract

Autopsy statistical data is the basis for finding the cause of death. So collecting data at the Institute of Forensic Medicine Police Hospital in 2018, 5,612 cases from death certificates were encoded and processed with Microsoft Excel, Pivot table, and Pivot chart data was presented via Dashboard program. The organized information into categories, gender, age, province, country, the behavior of death, etc. The result found that between the ages of 51 to 60 years had the highest mortality rate, finding in males more than females, 91% of 5,121 unnatural deaths divided into 65% of unknown causes, 3% of homicide, 26% of accidents, of the 1,306 accidents, most of them being in traffic accidents 74%, 6% of suicide, out of 286 suicides, most hanging methods are 89% rope and 3% of death from the poison. In addition, there were 491 natural deaths (9%), with cardiovascular disease being the highest cause for 59%, followed by respiratory disease for 22%. Forensic pathologists sent for analysis in toxicology and histology were the most common cause for 76%. The area of Metropolitan Police Headquarters 4 sent the most autopsies. Samut Prakan Province sent the most autopsies. Myanmar nationals were the highest. Therefore, it concluded that basic data autopsy presented in the Dashboard format could predict the cause of death or manner of death in various cases. Application in public health to reduce mortality from congenital diseases. Including as a guideline for planning strategies for further development of the agency's work.
