Abstract
Dissertation topics “Mixed Media Art Inspired by Gender Diversity under The Concept of “My World” is a creative work. The objective is to free oneself from the bondage of feelings that create discomfort from the external body. which reflects their negative feelings and attitudes as a person of diverse sexualities Conduct research by collecting materials that can be linked to create works of art. Then design a sketch and try creating the work. At the same time, techniques, styles, and construction methods were used to create a half-body sculpture from a steel frame and canvas fabric. Presenting the feelings and desires of being a male that are hidden inside through postures and sitting postures. Including being tied with rope in the “Shibari” style, the feeling of having to conceal is communicated in a powerful way.
The results of the exhibition “My World” through the work “Ai Beer” found that from observing behavior and exchanging ideas, including the reflections of the visitors who expressed it. Support ideas according to their objectives. Viewers recognize negative feelings and attitudes with sad and tearful facial expressions. Some people walked up and talked with words of encouragement, having gone through such a heartbreaking story. Some people rubbed their hands on their own arms. Some sat and hugged their knees with sad looks in their eyes. Moreover, some visitors stood motionless for a long time, as if they were one with the work. The expression in his eyes is rather pensive, sad, and his facial expression has the same feeling as the work. Some people are interested in photography that has moving images projected onto it, as if they are watching a recording of the pain that has occurred that they want to present.
