Abstract
The arrangement of Amazing Grace for classical guitar and electronic sound was a part of creativity, arranging, performing, researching, and recording to provide to publish as CDs by Voice of Peace foundation which a part of the album “Voice of Instrumental Music” released around 2017. Voice of Peace is a member of The Evangelical Fellowship of Thailand. The aims are to dedicate, to broadcast the Gospel message throughout Thailand and its neighboring countries; and to produce Bible teaching programs that will establish, encourage and strengthen believers in their faith from those very modest beginnings and support broadcasting on a single station for both public and private sectors.
Guitarist and Sound Engineer of the arrangement and recording of Amazing Grace in this version aims to bring the knowledge and capability in music combined with believed and faith in Christianity to create another version of this renowned hymn which based on furniture music or ambient music and try to create another identity of the piece of music for the album Voice of Instrumental Music which produced by Voice of Peace foundation.
This article provides history, biography of the composer, compositional process, orchestration, structure of the piece, and also the production process of the piece for publish on the Voice of Peace CDs album “Voice of Instrumental Music”.
