Gems Scrap Jewelry; the Identity of Chanthaburi Province under the Principles of Creative Materials Management

Abstract
In gems and jewelry industry, there are a lot of precious gemstones left over from the gem and jewelry manufacturing process. Most entrepreneurs do not have management processes nor can add value. The purpose of this research is to: To develop the designs of gemstones under the Identity of Chanthaburi Province with the principles of creative material management. The three key principles of the designs are 1. Inspiration 2. Material management 3. Trend. The Methodology are composed of gathering the studies of articles, researches and online data in order to – acknowledge the current trendy gemstones designs realize the ways of life and cultural identity of Chanthaburi natives and – experience the technical experiments to find out the possibilities and the boundaries in search of the gemstones leading to the jewelry industry as well as the frame of designs and creativities from the gemstones.
With the result of the study, the principles of creative material management are designed as the outstanding uniqueness of Chan Fruit like Durians (the king of fruit), Mangoesteens (the queen of fruit), Salaks and Southern langsats, focusing on taking the gems Scrap to combine with Resin elements by using the technique of Resin produce under the name of “Pleasure of Chan Fruit”. The key words of the design Chan Fruit as (the shapes), the expose of the nature as (the story) and sparkles as (materials). The researcher produced four pieces of the pendant as the model of work to manage a number of tiny gems Scrap both in the market and jewelry industry with the creative principles so as to make the gems Scrap and more valuable and create a variety of new products with the purpose of increasing more income for the community with the form of creative economy.
