Attitudes Towards Online Teaching and Learning Management Among Ubon Ratchathani University Students

Abstract

This cross-sectional descriptive research aimed to study attitudes towards online teaching and learning management among Ubon Ratchathani University students. The sample consisted of 385 students who passed online education in the first semester of the 2020 academic year of Ubon Ratchathani University. A questionnaire based on the concept of the CIPP model was used to collect data during March–April 2021.

results showed that the sample group of students had a good attitude in the aspect of instructors/courses/methods or input evaluation (I) averaged 4.02 (SD=0.74), and the least positive attitude on product evaluation (P) averaged 3.73 (SD=0.91). The online teaching style suitable for the current learner’s learning context is teaching through various programs such as Google meet, Zoom, MS Team, etc. Because such programs can teach and record video clips, which will be beneficial to learners who can review the lesson’s content at any time. Universities should have a system to support learners’ learning, such as procuring and lending computers/notebooks for students or providing rooms used for students to study online with the necessary computer equipment for students who do not have equipment.
