The Study of Learning Achievement by Using Infographic Media and KWL Strategy in Mathematical Statistics of Seventh Grade Students.

Abstract

The purposes of this research were 1) to create and find out the efficiency of infographic media in statistics of seventh grade students at Nawaminthrachinuthit Triamudomsuksanomklao School; 2) to explore and compare learning achievement between before and after using infographic media and KWL strategy in statistics of seventh grade students in academic year 2020 at Nawaminthrachinuthit Triamudomsuksanomklao School, Bangkok. The sample was selected from cluster random sampling technique by drawing lots. The sample consisted of 30 students of one classroom. The research instruments were 1) 12 infographic medias in statistics. The overall mean score was 4.38. The evaluation result was in the highest level; 2) 12 lesson plans. After checking the accordance between lesson plans and learning objectives , it was found that the lesson plans and the learning objectives had the accordance of the index of item-objective congruence (IOC) with values is aqual to 1.00 in all lesson plans. 3) 30 items of multiple choice learning achievement test. The reliability of the test (KR-20) showed values of 0.94. Pretest-posttest design were used in the experimental plan which were analyzed the research data by percentage, arithmetic mean, standard deviation and t-test dependent.

The results of the research were as follows :

1) The efficiency of infographic media in statistics was 82.92/81.33 which met the criteria set at 80/80

2) The students who studied through infographic media in statistics had higher learning achievement levels of post-test than learning achievement levels of pre-test at 0.01 statistically significant level.
