Development of Academic Administration Guidelines for the Small-Size Schools under Kalasin Primary Education Service Area Office 3rd.

Abstract
The research aimed were : 1) to investigate the current situations, desirable situations and needs of the academic administration in the small - size schools under Kalasin primary Education service area office 3, 2) to study the guidelines for the academic administration in the small - size schools under Kalasin primary Education service area office 3. The research was conducted in 2 phases ; phase 1 was the study related to the current situations, desirable situations and needs of the academic administration in the small - size schools under Kalasin primary Education service area office 3. The sample of this phase was 105 included school administrators and teachers who were selected by stratified random sampling. Phase 2 was the development of the guidelines for the academic administration in the small - size schools under Kalasin primary Education service area office 3. There were 9 participants who were interviewed consisted of school administrators and the head of academic department in schools. The instruments used for data collection were questionnaire, interview questions and the evaluation form of the appropriateness and the possibility. The data were analyzed by mean and standard deviation.
The results of the study revealed that ;
1) The current situations of the academic administration found that overall and each element rated in high level. The desirable situations of the academic administration found that overall and each element rated in the highest level. Needs of the academic administration could be ranged according to the highest mean as follows ; evaluation and assessment, learning process development, school curriculum development, research and development for school quality, development of internal quality assurance system, educational guidance and educational supervision respectively.
2) The evaluation results of the guidelines for academic administration in the small–size schools under Kalasin primary Education service area office 3 revealed that overall of the guidelines rated the appropriateness and the possibility in the high level.
